Hoping that Cannon will be walking soon because I think it will make the park experience much better for all of us. This time he was much less content just watching and was very frustrated that he couldn't keep up with his bro.
It was great that Daddy was able to come because he helped Charlie play on some of the equipment that he normally stays away from.

After daddy helped him once, he had the confidence to do it by himself. Then he did it over and over again yelling "I totally nailed it!" each time he got to the bottom.
Cannon reeeeaaaalllly wanted to go down that slide.
Eric talked Charlie into trying the monkey bars just once. After much protest he did try it but was not won over.
After we were there a while a few other boys showed up. One asked if Charlie went to Sandy Elementary School. Charlie told him he was going to go there in the fall for Kindergarten. I asked him if he went there and if he liked it. He was in the 4th grade and he said he didn't like it because there was too much "swearing" there. Then he started to sing a song about Sandy Suckamentary. Oh boy. I don't know if I am ready for this.
