Unfortunately this boy had to have surgery today. Although we thought it had resolved when he was a baby, it turns out that both of his testicles were still undescended. So, like his brother, he had an orchiopexy today. Both Charlie and Cannon had surgeries when they were babies and that definitely wasn't fun. Even with Cannon's ear surgery a few weeks ago it was comforting to know that he won't remember any of it. But it is different this time because Charlie is seven. He is very aware of what is going on. He was a little bit nervous and he asked a lot of questions.
The procedure went well and he is home now. He is having some pain but is doing good overall. We are so proud of you Charlie. Thank-you for being so brave!
